Build Up

Having spent what I can only describe as being too long preparing for this crazy challenge, it's finally just around the corner.

This is most definitely the biggest thing I have ever organised on my own which I suppose is reflected in the fact that this will be my greatest ever challenge I have faced......alone!

I've just finally booked the last of my accommodation which has required some tweaking of my route, but it's finally all set in stone now.

I'll be travelling up on Saturday 13th September by train, arriving at Wick in the evening, and then cycling up to John O'Groats where I'm booked in to Hamnavoe B&B. Hopefully I'll get a good night's sleep before hitting the road in the morning!
